Register a new local driver:

!addlocaldriverjar /path/to/mysql.jar
{code}

Try to connect with the Driver in the jar providing the Driver class in the 
connect command:

!connect jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/testdb hive secret com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

I get the following error:
