The java.lang.NumberFormatException will throw with following reproduce:
set hive.cbo.enable=false;
CREATE TABLE `paqtest`(
`c1` int,
`s1` string,
`s2` string,
`bn1` bigint)
ROW FORMAT SERDE
'org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.io.parquet.serde.ParquetHiveSerDe'
STORED AS INPUTFORMAT
'org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.io.parquet.MapredParquetInputFormat'
OUTPUTFORMAT
'org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.io.parquet.MapredParquetOutputFormat';
insert into paqtest values (58, '', 'ABC', 0);
SELECT
'Pricing mismatch' AS category,
c1,
NULL AS itemtype_used,
NULL AS acq_itemtype,
