Interesting the original position of the filter had been *before* the ap_die call, but *after* the ap_send_error_response calls (which causes trouble in 38123). The position of the filter was changed as a sideeffect of r97765 (http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi?rev=97765&view=rev) I like svn praise :-) Regards Rüdiger
