I'd like this a lot, because at present, I have some time. I'd like
to help, but I find it very difficult to see what bugs need to be
fixed for 2.0 and to track if anyone else is working on them.

I've used 'zilla before, and yes, it's a dreadful tool. But if it's
already set up on apache.org, other folks are using it, and getting
this project on it will not require much effort, I think it would be a
good idea. Just so that everyone can see exactly what we need to
crack, and hopefully get those last few issues resolved.
