Patrick: yes, we *do* intend to continue maintenance for 1.3. There will
probably continue to be some minor feature work, but 1.3 is mostly about
maintenance [including security fixes].

Sounds like the web site could use this clarification...

This should be in FAQ somewhere, but I can't find it.  Is the Apache
Software Foundation  going to be continuing development/"support" for both
1.3 and 2.0 code trees? 

The web site implies this to me, but I don't see anything definitive on it.
