Is this really a big concern?
IMO, if the build requires jdk5 for any reason, it's reasonable to say
update your JRE or don't update to the latest iBATIS release. If the
release resolves a show stopper for one of the dozen or so people
still forced to use jdk1.4, they can build it.

This is what happens when we wait so long to do a release, it takes 3 tries
to get it out. :-)
No problem, I'll fix it tonight, after I install JDK 1.4...
Wow time flies, JDK 1.4 is over 6 years old :-)
