The Apache Ignite Project Management Committee (PMC) has invited Vladislav
Pyatkov to become a new committer and are happy to announce that he has
accepted.
Vladislav is a veteran of the Apache Ignite project. He joined the
community in 2016.
He participated in the development of Ignite 1.x, 2.x
Erlan, thanks, I've reviewed and merged your changes.

I've just created a new PR https://github.com/apache/ignite-website/pull/96.
Please review and merge it.
Also, there is another PR https://github.com/apache/ignite-website/pull/95.
It will fix an incorrect email address on the download page.

Excellent 2021 recap! Thanks Kseniya for sharing, driving and helping with
so many activities. Can't wait to see the non-code contributions service to
track responses on the user lists and other forums.

I thought that Erlan and Maxim would fix it. I've pinged Erlan. I'm in the
process of changing laptops, thus, can't do it myself.

Hello!
Downloads page does not seem to have correct release date for releases
older than 2.11. Can this be fixed?

Hi, Igniters!
As 2021 comes to a close, let's review and celebrate the amazing
community-driven contributions that made Apache Ignite better throughout
the year:
— The community produced 2 releases 2.10 and 2.11 (2.12 is on its way)
which introduced:

Let's explain more thoroughly
Ignite module ignite-zookeeper contains 2 packages

It contains one class, TcpDiscoveryZookeeperIpFinder, that is just

I am +1 for removing ZookeeperIpFinder from ignite-zookeeper module. It is
not needed here.

It is simply not true. ZookeeperDiscovery has nothing common with
ZookeeperIpFinder.
The last one is simply one class and similar to others IP finders.

Hello!
I think it might not be a good idea, since Zookeeper IP Finder is not
stand-alone - a lot of code in core code base is dedicated for enabling it.
This code may break unnoticed if Zookeeper IP Finder is not built/tested on
every commit.

Sergei,
Please make sure this will not break the Ducktests.
AFAIK, we have zookeeper tests there.

Hi, igniters,
I've created an issue [1] to move the zookeeper IP-finder to the
ignite-extensions. The motivation is the same as with migration of
cloud-based IP-finders - to remove integration dependency of the
release cycle on Ignite releases. Also, the log4j dependency with
vulnerabilities
