Yeah I agree, no reason to feel bad at all. There are more opportunities to make improvements than we have contributors so it doesn't really matter if you assign something for a bit then unassign it. I've certainly sat on plenty of issues for a while that I sincerely intended to work on but never

The Apache JIRA install does not allow tickets to be assigned to just anyone. Instead, they need to be a "Contributor", which is just a JIRA role that each project can assign to whomever they like. I asked INFRA about opening it up more and they declined. To add a person to the "Contributor"

That's a tricky one. I have a couple of ideas but it's a bit difficult to confirm since the profile isn't really designed to easily answer questions like this. ProbeTime measures wall-clock time rather than actual time spent executing on the CPU. My first guess is that it's because the Kudu scan
