The emergency is now over, Jenkins is back in service again.
Rolling back the Gerrit trigger plugin fixed the workflow; patch sets
submitted to gerrit.cloudera.org are again triggering precommit checks
correctly.
Triggers were broken since May 11th (last Saturday), so if you have

The Impala upstream Jenkins service needs to be taken offline to fix the
recent failure in the precommit workflow: Gerrit triggers have
stopped working, so the automatic checks for uploaded patchsets have not
run, probably for several days. The culprit is probably the most recent
