Thanks, the KIP looks good.

Hi Stefan,
I've added you to the contributor list. You should now be able to
assign JIRAs to yourself.
Tickets with the newbie tag (like in your query) are usually a good
start. Otherwise have a quick browse around the latest tickets and see
if there's anything that looks interesting to you

There's already a built-in transformation (MaskField) that can

Hi,
Is anyone actively working on adding support for custom quotas callbacks?
We should really try to get this in soon as otherwise this KIP is not

Hi,
I've created KIP-660 to make the replica assignment logic pluggable.

Thanks for looking into this, it would be a great feature
Considering it's not a trivial feature, we should have a [DISCUSS]
thread before starting a vote.

Mickael Maison created KAFKA-10367:
--
Summary: Allow running the Streams demo app with a config file
Key: KAFKA-10367

Project: Kafka
Thank you, it looks great!
I found a couple of small issues:
- It's not rendering correctly with http.
- It's printing "called" to the console. I opened a PR to remove the
console.log() call: https://github.com/apache/kafka-site/pull/278
