Hi Jakub,
Thanks for reporting this and this is a good catch!
Yes, we need to fix it up this way. I created

Hi JB,
FYI, CXF 3.3 is the first version to support JDK11.
So I think we should upgrade to use CXF 3.3.x in Karaf, what do you think?

We have
KARAF-6203
KARAF-6221
track it separately.
And I’ve pushed my work on jdk12 and jdk13 branches.
We need a release from aries proxy which contains my PR for

Agree, since feature is really essential for Karaf and I believe most Karaf
users build their projects based on it.
So we should keep current feature behaviour as is and we can introduce new
resource repository behaviour from configuration switch.

We also need release OPS4J pax-exam 4.13.0 before Karaf 4.2.2, karaf need
pax-exam 4.13.0 to run tests under JDK11.

Hi JB,
Sorry I introduced the easy mock SNAPSHOT. Per the discussion here[1], easymock
3.7 release which can work with JDK11 should not be far.
Anyway, we can downgrade to easymock 3.6 so far while waiting for easymock 3.7
release. Though this will cause VerifyMojoTest failed with JDK11, I

Hi,
That's the problem. You shouldn't embed xercesImpl-2.11.0.jar in Hadoop-karaf
bundle, you should use the one from container(with correct Import-Package).
The error

I just tried your fix.
It looks like we reintroduce the same issue as before: when executed log:tail
once, the log messages are display on System.out.
I reopen the Jira to take a look on that.

+1 for this proposal.
I like the idea that we needn't change current commands code, but hack it

Awesome, this fine-grained security is what Karaf want for a long time.
Adding it to the JMX access definitely is a good start, also looking forward to
this improvement on Karaf console command.
