Hi guys,
I fixed the latest issues for 4.2.5 during the weekend. I'm working
today on the examples (including dynamic/static distribution +
dockerfile generation).
I plan to submit Karaf 4.2.5 to vote tonight.

Hi,
FYI, I just tested the following without problem:
I added a Routing appender ref on the rootLogger:
log4j2.rootLogger.appenderRef.Sift.ref = Routing
The Routing logger uses MDC to have a file per bundle (using bundle name):
log4j2.appender.routing.type = Routing
log4j2.appender.routing.na
For the tracking, I created:

I will tackle that this afternoon.

Another idea around this is Karaf Winegrower. Winegrower is kind of
Karaf Boot, using a single/unique classloader instead of one classloader
per bundle. It's pretty convenient for cloud as well.
Maybe we can have winegrower as Karaf subproject.
Currently Winegrower is

Hi,
Just to let you know that I updated Jenkins as follow:
1. New karaf-4.2.x job has been created
2. All Karaf jobs now use mvn 3.6.0
I will update master job to build using JDK 11 once validated locally on
my box.

static and dynamic bootstrapping approach, one runtime for multiple
services or one runtime per service, etc.
Thoughts ?
