We expected not to download /dict and /table_snapshot resources from metastore 
with command:
bin/kylin.sh org.apache.kylin.common.persistence.ResourceTool 
-Dexclude=/acl,/draft,/scheduler,/user,/execute,/execute_output,/dict,/table_snapshot
 download /tmp/1505313509126-0

But the downloaded folders are:
acl  bad_query  cube  cube_desc  cube_statistics  dict  execute  execute_output 
 model_desc  project  raw_table_desc  raw_table_instance  table  table_snapshot 
 user  UUID

Hi Arnault,

Today most users are running directly on OS (an edge node of the Hadoop
cluster). This is easy to do. With the tool like Ambari, this node can be
monitored and managed together with other nodes.

But I also heard some users running Kylin on Docker. I don't know how they
monitor/manage the containers, they should have their way. If using Docker,
you also need to build the image by yourself, as there is no official image.

Kylin on Docker for production use

Hello,

I would like to know if it's better to install Kylin directly on the OS or
with Docker for production use ?

I didn't find too much information on Internet and there no recent
docker/kylin image available or update, so I guess it's not a viable
solution. I'm wrong ?
