in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list, Joost has posted the latest bug statistics:

If you look at the bug count for l10n, you'll see that we have 249 bugs.
I am quite sure that we can do better! This bug count seems not to
change a lot from one statistic to the other and I think that it's
really time to do something.
Can I please ask all of you to check your bugs again? To verify if they
still occur and to close them if they are no longer valid or to write a
comment in them in case they do still occur and nothing has happened so
far? It is important to submit bugs but it is equally important to
monitor them and to keep asking if nothing has happend with the
submitted bugs...
If a bug has been submitted it's because something was wrong in the
product and I am sure that we all want good quality localized version
... So let's do something for this.
Let's try to get better statistics next time and please do make other
suggestions if you have on how we can reduce the bug count....
