Upgrade from 6.2.1. to 8.4.1 HttpSolrCall

2020-03-08 Thread Sergio Bilello
Hello! I am trying to perform a library upgrade. I got the following exception.
Any advice on how to fix it?
I am thinking if I should investigate with an heapdump or if some expert
already encountered the problem and it is an easy fix to be done.
I am not using solrcloud but legacy standalone solr app.

Re: 8.5 release

2020-03-08 Thread Joel Bernstein
If possible I'd like to backport
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-14073 for the 8.5 release. The
work is already committed just waiting on the go ahead for the backport and
I'll update CHANGES,txt and close out the ticket.

Upgrading Zookeeper?

2020-03-08 Thread Erick Erickson
see: SOLR-14312

Short form: There have been some CVEs etc. fixed since 3.5.5, but then
3.6.0 was released. Should we upgrade to 3.5.7 or 3.6.0? If 3.6.0, now
or wait?
