FWIW checked 7.7 vs 8.0 - hadoop jars take up 2MB less with hadoop-hdfs-client 
(11MB vs 9MB). However the overall distribution size went up due to added 
dependencies outside of Hadoop related jars (http2 and jetty). 75 vs 88
