The Angular UI for Solr is now feature complete, and people are asking
that it be made the default. There are, undoubtedly, still bugs to be
found in it.
The new UI will have new features (e.g. a collections tab) so will
hopefully be worth people using!
Here's two options, as I see it, for 5.4:
I'd go with (1); we took the same route for the current ui. otherwise people
are still using the current one, until it's not available anymore - when they
could have used the angular one already quite a while. at least that's my
experience with that kind of changes :)
