Hi!
it has just come to my attention that Gitbox at ASF
has been enabling full GitHub workflow (with being
able to click Merge this PR button, etc.) for quite
some time.
This basically allows a project to have GH as a R/W
repo as opposed to R/O mirror of what we all currnently
have:
This looks good to me! Aaron, unless there's any feedback today I suggest
you go ahead and add this to the board's agenda as per:
https://www.apache.org/dev/pmc.html#ensure-the-projects-quarterly-board-report-is-submitted
Thanks,
Roman.

Hi!
based on the discussion that happened on privated@madlib
I've updated the PMC roster and a PMC Chair position:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/MADLIB/Graduation+Resolution
I'd like to ask everyone to read through this doc once more
and let me know if something is missing.
Hi!
with the fifth (v1.11) release in the final stages of being cut,
I think now would be a good time to officially start our graduation
discussion. With my mentor hat on, I feel that the project is
mature and self-reliant enough to qualify as a TLP.
Process-wise graduation consists of drafting

Hi!
apologies for the extra wide distribution (this exhausts my once
a year ASF mail-to-all-bigdata-projects quota ;-)) but I wanted
to suggest that all of you should consider submitting talks
to FOSDEM 2017 HPC, Bigdata and Data Science DevRoom:

Looks very nice! Thanks for writing it up, Frank.

Enjoy your admin karma, but remember -- with great power comes git blame ;-)

Hi Frank!
first of all -- this is a pretty awesome effort! Thank you!
Quick question that is complimentary to the roadmap: what is the release
model that you're proposing? Is it purely feature driven or date-driven?
I kind of see both in this document.
Personally, I'm a big fan of date driven
Awesome report! I've signed off! And now I can review your RC ;-)
Thanks,
Roman.

Hi!
any chance you guys can compile report soon?
Thanks,
Roman.
Time to get those submissions in!
Also, may be a good idea to keep track of the submissions on the wiki
so that the community members can follow up with voting for the
ones they like without digging through tons of submissions.
Thanks,
Roman.

Thanks,

As most of you probably know FOSDEM 2016 (the biggest,
100% free open source developer conference) is right
around the corner:
https://fosdem.org/2016/
We hope to have an ASF booth and we would love to see as
many ASF projects as possible present at various tracks
(AKA Developer rooms):
