I have two further objections to this.
1: there are files that do not comply with the requirements for IP
notices: readme.md and findbugs-exclude.xml.
I think that, as a PMC, we should impose more or less the same
standards on first releases of new components that the incubator
imposes on

Hi,
This is the first version of maven-shared-utils, a replacement for
plexus-utils. This version has been tested
extensively with the current maven code base, so as version numbers
come 0.1 is slightly arbitrary; we
expect to add a feature or two (and a relase or two) before calling it 1.0.
+1, binding, and thanks very much.
By the way, does markdown really do XML comments :-)

Google said it does - I haven't really tested much more than that ;)
An interesting bug I just came across is that markdown/index.md does not work
the way it's supposed to; it seems like it
strange; I have a working markdown index on a project at work. when I
get home I will send details.

This version fixed an annoying bug in the 2.5.x range, where the
plugin was actually

I realized that I didn't remove the separate manual purge mojo after
merging this feature back in to the main purge mojo. So I will remove
this extra mojo now, and hopefully the release can be re-tagged/staged.
Also, I created MNG-5366 to describe the dependency resolution problem
in Maven

I could create a 1.12.1 version of QDox, where I can include patches which
I already added to the 2.0-version.
This way MPLUGIN-220 can be fixed.
Are you in a real hurry?

Hi.
I think that I'm missing the point here.
Isn't all of the information that you mention below included in the pom,
and rewritten by the release plugin at release time?
Have I missed something?
