this one has been fixed:
yes, the JVM buildinfo spec is a WIP I started 2 years ago: it seems it will
remain a WIP for a long time, because there is no feedback from people trying
to use it from multiple build tools horizons
having a release of this plugin, for people to at least use it, is the best
bet to eventually

Given that, a 1.0 release feels premature.
