Ok the Maven team already offer a wiki to help write documentation so
I guess we should start writing there. I will give it a try as soon as
possible.

Cool! My idea was to start a structured wiki like Wikipedia to be able
to work as a team but I don't want to create another unreadable wiki
like most Apache projects already have. It's great for development
efforts but not enough for end users.
I'll take a look at the discussion first and see from
Hi Everybody,
I was just using the latest deployed 2.1.3-SNAPSHOT version of
surefire and I got this error on the activemq/activemq-jaas module.
Any idea?
[WARNING] POM for 'directory-asn1:asn1-der:pom:0.3.2' is invalid. It
will be ignored for artifact resolution. Reason: Not a v4.0.0 POM.

Looks like we finally made it! The results for this third vote are as

Binding: 5 (John, Vincent, Carlos, Brett, Emmanuel)
Non-Binding: 7 (Fabrizio, Alex, Vincent S, Dan, Edwin, Brian, Jesse)
I'm going to start working on the release now. It should be out tomorrow

Hi Alexandre,
There is actually a discussion about the improvement of the site on the dev
list.
May you subscribe and participate ?
I also created a Jira issue for a proposition of improvment:

oh, yes, it will use plexus-utils 1.1
Can we update plexus-utils in maven installation? I know we are in RC phase. Is
it a risk?
1.2 will be release in few days because i need it in continuum

Should we add this to the site plugin explicitly until it is upgraded in
2.1?

Thanks for the reminder, Joerg.
As for m1.0 compatibility, as far as I know, only the newer versions of
the artifact plugin are completely incompatible with m1.0.2. Apart from
that, we are trying to keep m1.0.2 compatibility for all plugins. If you
find something that works under m1.1 but not
Ok I am getting tired to hear Maven documentation is awful. It is such
a wonderful product, I really want to see it adopted massively. I am
considered a good technical writer at my job So I want to give a hand
there. My question, is where should I start?
The urgent need right now seems to be a coh

It was quite some time ago, when the new site location went up. Maybe it
was someone else...
Anyway, all fixed now! :)

It wasn't working, Lukas asked me to fix it.
I don't know why you say that, I never contacted you about it. I
couldn't have, as I was on vacation last week.

Hi,
Fabrice worked on the JXR plugin, fixed a number of bugs in the original
