Actually I directly changed the file on people.apache.org and updated it
into subversion.
The content is :
ErrorDocument 404 /errors/404.html
RedirectMatch ^/maven2/(.*)$ /$1
RedirectMatch ^/reference/(.*)$ /maven-1.x/reference/$1
RedirectMatch
