which version of the site-plugin did you use (it is not fixed in the 
wagon pom?)? I did a quick build with site-plugin-3.0 and breadcrumbs 
look ok.

I had briefly used 3.0-beta-x, but I thought I switched back to 2.
Should I make a branch just to fix the site config and redeploy?

I'd favour just checking out the tag and fixing locally and deploying
the site... but I'm ok with any other suggestion that gets the site
fixed
