Not a bad idea.  We'll need to be careful to not break the release
build (which can't have any sandbox stuff in it.)  Just make sure
everything builds fine with or without sandbox.

At some point we should also change the examples to use 'sbx' instead
of 's' or 'x' (like we discussed earlier.)

Also I noticed the Tobago stuff uses 't' which might get confusing ...
