Hi Brad,
If the file was part of the donation (which it was), and the license header
does not look suspicious (which it does not), then I believe the header can
be replaced with the standard ASF header, look for example into:
Hi, I created another PR to move the MacOS job from Travis to the GitHub
action: https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/2180
The current GitHub action environment for macOS builds has the JDK 1.8
installed by default in comparison with Travis CI that needs a work around
to install an older java
NetBeans IDE still contains support for PHP tools and frameworks, which
are now in EOL state - Symfony 1, Zend Framework 1, PHPUnit skeleton
generator, ApiGen.
Summary is in issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1367
What is the plan for their support? Leave it as it is because

I was wondering, do we want to add a note in the web page or something
stating the release number? Or is that unnecessary?
Kind regards & thanks!

Hi Alex,
Well, now that we have a successful and proven quarterly release cycle...
maybe that could make it more attractive for great plugins such as yours to
be integrated directly into Apache NetBeans, out of the box.
It is a great compliment to you that people are asking for this -- and this
Hi all,
in general I don't think that now that NetBeans is an open source project
all the existing open source plugins should be integrated in it. Spring
framework and Spring Boot support in Eclipse, for example, is provided via

Hi all,
thanks to Christian Oyarzun for finding the root cause of the problem (see
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4341 for details).
We now have a workaround and Mattias Blaesing has queued a proper fix in
the codebase (https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/2177).
Thanks

I would have thought a good candidate for 12.0 update 1?!
Maybe we can work towards a patch update by end of June or by freeze
for 12.1? Assuming Oracle update of nb-javac is still inbound and
