I forgot that I haven't merged
https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/8216 yet. I waited for feedback
and then completely forgot about it.
I might extract the version number changes later and merge them separately.

Just opened an issue against NB 25-rc2. The only versions listed are
NB-24 and daily-build.
Should the release candidates be listed?
