+1 (binding). I ran through the release helper including signature, hashes,
build, and testing the binary. I checked the LICENSE and NOTICE files.
Everything looks good to me.
One thing I noted is that Jeff's GPG key is not yet in the public KEYS file

Technically, the thing being voted upon is the sources.zip that was placed
into the dist folder.
There is generally not a tag at this point as per the release guide[1]. In
that guide you'll see the process we follow and links to ASF policies and
references that are also helpful.

The problem is I don't see the 1.4.0-RC2 (or -RC1) tag. I only see a
branch, NIFI-4412-RC2 (which now that I checked out, I do see the proper
commit.) Shouldn't there be an RCx tag at this point? Or is that created
after the vote passes? And, if that's the case, what's the point of the tag?
I've built the source release. And the ASF and Github mirror show the
commit Jeff references in the vote.

Hey guys,
Has anyone attempted to build 1.4.0-RC2 (or -RC1 for that matter)? I don't
see those tags. I don't see them from command line git after doing a pull.
I don't see them on the Github website either. I don't even see the commit
mentioned in this announcement. And, the link to the commit
+1 non-binding.
All processor, controller service, and reporting tasks look good.
Rick.

The source zip, including signatures, digests, etc. can be found at:

The Git tag is nifi-1.4.0-RC2

Hello all,
I just wanted to send out a quick update on RC2 status. I'm currently
running the "mvn release:perform" step, which should be nearing
completion. There are a few steps to do once that has finished, but there
should be a new voting thread very soon.
I want to thank all of you for
Yes, currently working on RC2.

Hello,
I have 2 clarifications.
We have a 3 node cluster (3 zookeeper and 3 nodes). When we restart the
cluster (in no particular order) and when the flow are running, the cluster
does not start and we see the attached error in the logs. This has happened
to us couple of time.
Do we have to
