To add some more about GoodForNewContributors, it seems well used in
GitLab platform :

So sticking with it seems nice to me.

Good First Issue label can be used to identify any issue to be a good fit
for a new contributor. These issues can be a great way to get started with
a project. Then label is widely used by projects on GitHub[2] and quite
useful.
I propose to introduce a "Good First Issue" like a label
