Hi - continuing the top posting.
I think what Raphael is referring to is if the project should follow a pattern
similar to Apache Subversion where only source code and no binary packages are
provided.
If you look at https://subversion.apache.org/packages.html you will see what is
meant. I am n

I am sorry not writing aß of Late. I lack time even to follow the list

For good code you need to compile, build the product I mean. There is no
point in outsourcing this.
I think we are alone as long as we do not manage some fundamental reforms.
I think of:
1) ease building
2)

Hi all,
currently i'm trying to build Open Office from svn sources, closely
following the guide in
https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/Building_Guide_AOO/Step_by_step#Windows_7.2C_Windows_8.1.2C_Windows_10.
The trunk revision i currently have is

Ugg... Since I cannot downgrade to Mt Lion, and since XCode8 on
El Capitan is full o' issues, it looks like I'll be needed to update
builder to macOS... I will wait for a few more tests but this seems
the prudent course of action.
Thx for the feedback!!

I am using OS Siera 10.12.4
I installed Jims version en-US
Creating new database instance fine.
Saving it fine
Closing down the database or closing down the database window or closing down
Openoffice does not work.
Literally nothing happens.
I ended up force quitting the program.
No other test
For the record, the build system IS running 10.11/El Capitan, but I
cannot recreate the bug here. However, I strongly urge people to test as
Andrea sez. Worse case scenario is that I need to update the build
system to Sierra, and if that is the case, I'd prefer to do it asap.
So please test soon!
