Hi all My findings are exactly the same as those from Francis. Copying the contents to a new spreadsheet saves in XML 2003 without any issues. It is this specific ODS file that has a problem. Curiously, the file saved as XML 2003 will not open correctly in OpenOffice... Regards, Pedro > On

Hi Matthias, I get a "Write error: file could not be written" when I try the file from the forum post saved as Microsoft Excel 2003 XML. However, I can't reproduce the error if I copy the file contents into a new file. I also tried reducing the original file to just the numbers 1,2,3,4 in A1:A4
