Hello

you can install the debs from www.openoffice.org

Please untar the tar.gz into a separate directory

In this directory dpkg -i *.deb

Then you find the binaries in /opt

Kind regards

Mechtilde

Are you guys ever going to fix the this file contains macros nag screen
bug? This nuisance has been around since the Big Bang. There's no sense
filing a bug report, because there have already been as many bug reports as
there are subatomic particles in the known universe. So why can't anybody
fix this?

Are you referring to a particular issue in which this nag screen was
actually determined to be a bug/defect? If this is the case, it might be
good to make additional comments on the Bug issue itself.

The closest issue that I could find regarding the macro warning is Issue
74177--

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=74177

On this issue, the nag message was not determined to be a bug although
some found it annoying.
