Cannot Download OpenOffice.

2015-11-13 Thread MK
Hi,

I'm trying to download open office and I can't do it in either of my
browser, Chrome or IE. Please find the data below. The first table set is
from my download attempt on Chrome browser, and the second table is data
from my attempt on IE. I'm using Windows 7. On Chrome, the download link
just sent me to a blank page, while IE sends me to HTTP 404 Not Found.

Time passed and it seems today (Friday) is the last day for proposing a
stand/booth. As things stand now, with no information at all, probably
it would make sense to submit a quick request on behalf of OpenOffice
saying that we would accept (and we recommend!) that the request is
merged with the Apache one (I mean, the one reportedly sent by Daniel),
and that Apache can get adequate table space for the merged booth, on
the ground floor.

I'm not going to submit it; I'm leaving this to Michael for
consideration. Of course, if we already know that Daniel's request will
be accepted, there is no reason for submitting this "extra" request.

  Andrea.

Columns or rows? #106857 again wants "Columns" as default even though Excel

Use the value of the cell under the cursor as the find text? #73544 asks

Any other proposals? Should we ask our current users what they want (how?)?

Sir
Would like to ask a question relating to a problem faced by me in Open Office.

Whilst working in a text document in Open Office, power trip forced the
computerto shut down.
On opening the document in which I was working the following message pops up
Document Locked for Editing

Question : How to remove this feature - Locked for Editing?

2015-11-13 Thread Dennis E. Hamilton
Soundaram,

I have forwarded your message to dev@ openoffice.apache.org where you may find
better responss.

The remedy is to find the lock file in the same folder as the document that was
open at the time of interruption. It will have a similar name to the one that
was open. Delete that file.

You may find there are other difficulties to deal with. These can be discussed
and resolved on the dev@ oo.a.o list.

And my LIBXML_CFLAGS is

Why is only this module replacing 10.11 with 10.10 during the build process?

This link should give you a direct download of the en-GB version for Windows.
If that is what you require you should not need the language pack

http://sourceforge.net/projects/openofficeorg.mirror/files/4.1.2/binaries/en-GB/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.2_Win_x86_install_en-GB.exe/download

Copy and paste it into your browser address bar. The download will start in
five seconds. Do not click on anything but the authorisation to save the file
to disk.

I have just checked the link; it is working ok for me

I don’t face this issue in any other module. How do I try and work around this?

Thanks
