Re: Icons proposal
Xavier, Thank you for your proposed icons. I’m sorry that your response to a live discussion about them has caused you to claim that AOO is dead. I made NO comment about either liking or disliking the proposal. Both you and Matthias have already said you like the design. In the original post the question was asked: "Could you take a look and tell me what you think?". My thought was: "Icons look very like LO with gulls added". Over time I get to see software installations on numerous (possibly hundreds) computers. You would be surprised how many, mostly Windows users, have little or no idea what has been installed on their machines, but that's different issue. > All the best, > Pedro Regards Dave - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org

Re: Icons proposal
At least LibreOffice is not dead unlike AOO and its dated appearance has finished it. LO used AOO and not the other way around, so we can change. Furthermore, LO and AOO will not be confused because it is absurd to have the 2 software on your computer. I understand your attachment to the AOO from a decade ago Le jeu. 13 avr. 2023 à 15:13, Dave a écrit : > > > On 10/04/2023 19:56, Xavier Verbreghe wrote: > > Hi, I wanted to show you the icons I made to potentially replace the AOO > > base icons in the future. > > > > I made icons for software (Writer, Base, Draw, Math, Impress, Calc), but > > also for different filetypes. > > > > Could you take a look and tell me what you think? > > > > I am making an icon pack for the interior of the different software. > > > > Here’s the link to see my proposal : > > > https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zaocgHeB30J5J-IGLnXAEPdeGKc075Iz?usp=sharing > > > > Thank you. > > > > Regards, > > Manjiro5 > > Corentin VERBREGHE > > Possible user confusion. Re: Icons proposal
Hello, so I'm going to abandon my icon project because AOO has already been dead for 9 years. AOO has no interest in view of its old appearance. Rest in Pearce Apache OpenOffice. Hello You have changed the color set and I believe it's not a good idea. - Mail original - > De: "Xavier Verbreghe" > À: dev@openoffice.apache.org > Envoyé: Lundi 10 Avril 2023 20:56:04 > Objet: Icons proposal > > Hi, I wanted to show you the icons I made to potentially replace the > AOO > base icons in the future. > > I made icons for software (Writer, Base, Draw, Math, Impress, Calc), > but > also for different filetypes. > > Could you take a look and tell me what you think? > > I am making an icon pack for the interior of the different software. > > Here’s the link to see my proposal : > https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zaocgHeB30J5J-IGLnXAEPdeGKc075Iz?usp=sharing > > Thank you. > > Regards, > Manjiro5 > Corentin VERBREGHE > - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org
