 hasn't been imported yet.
The natural way would have been to submit an issue task to integrate it.

Even though I still think that the natural way would be to have it
already available (and even more so if this is something that we can't
readily do upon request), here you are with the issue:
 https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125810

too late, now where I was aware of this request I did it already and
also generate a new sdf. I am currently merging existing languages to
the new updated templates ... which takes some time

I meant the issue helps to tigger and track the work ;-)

Documenting the current process is still a to-do on my long list

Could at least you take screenshots while you import Sinhala? Then maybe
someone else can fill in the gaps, but we really need a starting point
if we want to find volunteers who can help with this.

Also too late, but adding a language that is already supported by Pootle
is straight forward and you need only admin rights.

it's too bad that we won't make progress with the genlang project. I
believe it is dead and nobody really knows enough details to continue

The genLang initiative is not that relevant for this. You need an
initial import into PO files anyway, with or without genLang.

that is true but the whole roundtrip would be simplified

Open Office troubles

2014-10-31 Thread JamesDebbie
Hello,

I personally have been using Open Office for many years and have had zero
problems with it. Within the last two weeks I have had an occurring error,
unfortunately. My Open Office has been opening PDF files in computer language.
I have tried with two different laptops, and my main computer. Same thing with
every PDF file. Have never had problems with the PDF's before. Please fix this
issue.

Thank you for your help.

This is a problem with File Associations on your operating system. Most
probably you have installed the PDF editing extension, which allows minor
editing of PDF files in OpenOffice Draw, and which may have taken possession of
PDF file. To cure this, exit OpenOffice. Right click on a PDF file and select
Open With from the popup. This should present you with a list of options.
Most probably (especially if you are using Windows) you should choose Adobe
Reader. Somewhere on this list, probably at the bottom, is a checkbox (or
something) to tell it to Always use this program to open these files. Check
that. You should then have no further problems.

I'm sorry to be vague about the dialogs involved, but I have no knowledge of
your exact operating system and hence cannot check the exact wording; however
the above instructions should help you.

Looks to me that the html for http://ci.apache.org/projects/openoffice/
in no longer being generated - It seems to have been last generated on
Oct 18. That page is generated by the buildbot infrastructure - we will
need to look into why it is no longer being generated.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. Is this something that is directly
controlled by the buildbot and therefore is under infra? or ???

We are no longer receiving buildbot messages via commits either.
