May I start a mailing list for Vietnamese users?

There is forum at https://forum.openoffice.org/vi/forum/ but it is
currently closed. I think the issue is explained at
https://forum.openoffice.org/vi/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3=1047

We can look into reopening the forum if someone (this would be you!)
volunteers to reject spam.

A mailing list can be started too, if you prefer it over the forum. In
general, we tend to create mailing lists only when it is reasonable that
they will receive a certain traffic and when we have two (preferably
three) moderators for a list. Moderators approve pending messages and
help people subscribe/unsubscribe when needed.

In any case, thank you for volunteering and please let us know how you
would proceed!

Regards,
  Andrea.

The Apache OpenOffice Bugzilla is not managed by the OpenOffice project,
but by the Infra team of the Apache Software Foundation. You can contact
them at https://www.apache.org/dev/infra-contact and they are usually
able to provide dumps.

This answer is not an endorsement: the paper you cite is not publicly
accessible. But Infra has a history of providing material to
researchers, so you shouldn't face big difficulties.

Troubles Loading Files with OpenOffice

2017-06-22 Thread QCIT3 MMisonora

Hello there,

Recently the company I am working for has downloaded your program, OpenOffice
and have tried to open some files we have previously made files on Windows
Excel with your program. However, it took about twenty minutes to load, so I
was wondering why is it loading so slow and how can we make it load faster. The
computers we are using are Windows 7 computers that run on a Core 2 Duo with 2
GB of RAM and a 32-bit Operating System.

Please help,

Emma
