Your account must be added to the appropriate groups. See:

I don't have the rights, so someone else has to do it.

I do not have those rights. Probably because my bugzilla user is an account. I
tried to switch to my apache address but I failed.
The account name is an leginee account at Google mail service.

Yes, they look so much better! I could test them on Ubuntu 16.04 (Unity)
and 18.04 (Gnome).

I am pretty sure that they will also look nice on other desktop
environments, but this is a point where the community can help...

To be clear:
These icons were in our code since around 2012. But they never got
copied over by the desktop integration.
I only added two icons (printer admin and extension) and patched the script.

Please do include this in version 4.1.6 for Linux!

For those who aren't convinced it makes a real difference, please go to

https://imgur.com/a/5WoOqub

or download these two separate images and compare them side by side

AOO 4.1.5

AOO 4.2.0

(Unfortunately Imgur converts everything to jpg but the difference is still
obvious even with jpg compression artifacts)

You can overcome the error by executing
sudo dpkg -i openoffice-core01_4.2.0-1_amd64.deb after the error message

This is a regression in 4.2.0 so someone will have to worry about that when the
project gets there (fortunately this does not affect the 4.1.x branch)

Meanwhile can you please change the bug status to confirmed and add some
details on the OS where that occurred?
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127774

Thanks!

That error has been discussed before, it has to do with the icons (they

Okay I had a look now.

I have a bit of an issue in filtering on the blocker flag.

I filtered now on the Version 4.1.6-dev and 4.1.6 and found 6 reports.

 Are these all of them?

 - The Patch I had in mind i did not find again. Next time I have to
 note the issue number. :(

Thus I am fine with the Blockers so far. Anything that anyone wants
still to add from the dev list?

No, you change to "+" if you think this should be in 4.1.6.
And you change to "-" if you think it shouldn't.

At least this is my understanding...

I agree with Jim in general. I see a possibility that the 4.1.x
series gets maintenance till 2020, for centOS6 while every one else
 is moving to 4.2.0.

This is why I didn't ask for release blocker. ;-)

It is just "nice to have" and another resolved issue that would

find its way into a release.
There are a lot of them, that do not qualify as "blocker"...

4.1.6_release_blocker requested: [Issue 127530] New policy: Sign releases with SHA-512 and no longer offer MD5

2018-09-15 Thread bugzilla
Matthias Seidel has asked for 4.1.6_release_blocker:
Issue 127530: New policy: Sign releases with SHA-512 and no longer offer MD5
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127530

I know this is being worked on but we can not test until our CMS is working
again.

So I ask for "release blocker" just to track this issue.
