Failure to load document from connected Android device

2020-11-29 Thread Pedro Lino
Hi all

I reported some time ago a bug which I assumed was related to Samba shared
folders
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128049

Today while trying to edit an ods document in my Android phone (connected
through USB on Ubuntu 18.04 x64) I got a similar error message

General input/output error while accessing
/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=%5Busb%3A001%2C009%5D/Internal Shared
Storage/Documents/document.ods

The Android drive is mounted as mtp://[usb:001,009]

I can open files on Samba and Android folders using every other program but
OpenOffice...

Any ideas?

Regards,
Pedro

Re: FOSDEM 2021 Apache OpenOffice devroom (online)

2020-11-29 Thread Mechtilde
Hello,

For the second day, I propose to arrange an opportunity to invite people
to a conversation as at a booth.

We can use the video conference room as we did for the anniversary.

Regards

Mechtilde

Didn't we remove Quicktime in 4.1.8?

That's always welcome, maybe that fixes also the long standing problem
with Extension Manager on macOS?
