Hi all,

where do we maintain the code?

I would like to have a look if I can add it, but [1] seems to be empty.

Oggetto: Impossible to register on the Italian Forum

Hi everyone, I'm the administrator of the Italian AOO forum.
Since the site was updated a few months ago no user can register
alone. If they write me an email requesting help, I will register on
their own without encountering any problems.
I have simplified the procedure as much as possible, but I have not
solved it.
In my opinion the problem is due to the incomplete description of the
field indicated in the attached figure which does not explain that
the version of Open Office used and the operating system must be
entered in the signature.
How can I change "SIGNATURE REQUIRED" to "Include your version of
OpenOffice and the operating system it is installed on"?
Thanks for your help.

Forum registration refused for “invalid” email

2013-06-29 Thread Robert

Dear Sir,
Yesterday, I tried to register on the OpenOffice.org Writer Forum. My
Forum registration was refused for the reason that my email address was
“not valid”. I used “crockett151...@hotmail.com” as my email address.
This address was accepted in all the forums I registered with. Could you
please tell me why it is considered as an invalid email address? What is
a “valid” email address?

By the way, I am sending this message to you because I could not see any
way to contact the Admin of the OpenOffice.org Writer Forum, except by
logging into the forum, which I could not do because my application was
rejected.

Regards,
Robert

I tried starting a new registration in the forum at
http://forum.openoffice.org/en
with that e-mail address (it's the only way to test) and the Forum
refused it because the address is already in use.

So it seems that you are already registered and that you need to use the
links at

http://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/ucp.php?mode=login
if you forgot your password or need the verification e-mail to be resent.

The dev list is OK for these issues.

  Andrea.

Hi,

There is indeed a Robert2 user with that mail, registered on Sat Jun 29, 2013

If there is a problem with the forgotten password link, let me know.

Hagar
