Perpetually means ceaselessly/continuously to me - which is not something we should encourage! (kids also need to get out and about) Perpetual is a licensing term, perhaps a term not familiar to the average blog reader. When you have a perpetual license it never expires. I've rephrased it along your suggestion. Perhaps put something like: You can use OpenOffice, with no subscription fees - ever. Although the picture is fun, it is obviously US and white (and not recent). I'm not sure it gives the correct message for a multilingual modern appliction. Our main concern has been to use freely available images, generally public domain ones. We've been finding them on Flickr Commons, which generally contains public domain works from various government archives: http://www.flickr.com/commons They are not all U.S. images. We've used good ones from Australia, Norway, Ireland, etc., in the past. But are predominately older, BW images. Feel free to look around those available images. If you find something more appropriate we use it. In theory we could use some forms of CC images as well, but so far we tried to limit ourselves to images that were permissively licensed. Something I'd like to organize, at some point, is a photo contest, where we can invite contributions of photographs of individuals and groups using AOO. Or maybe at a conference we can even shoot our own stock photos to give us a more modern set of images to work with. But I would like to avoid the cliche corporate stock photo of two people in business suits looking at a laptop, one sitting and one standing ;-) Regards, -Rob - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org
