[...] I did a quick search with Google (bugzilla url list_id) and found this as first hit: https://support-bugzilla.mozilla.narkive.com/jXnwYmle/purpose-of-list-id-url-parameter So it seems the list_id may be a saved result, meaning if something happens to an issue that would change the search result list it would not be updated when using the list_id in a URL. You have to do a new search or not include the list_id in the URL to get the current results. At least that is the way I'm understanding it. Now my questions is: When we provide a URL like this in a release blog post or announcement should we do a new search and use the list_id in the URL so we have a snapshot in time or not include it so each user gets an up-to-date result? For example, if an issue is changed from fixed to reopened, do we want that issue to appear in the list after that or not? It might be easier on the database if we use the list_id at release time so everyone that follows the link isn't creating a new entry as long as we're okay with the snapshot in time list. as we present a software release which is fix when published, so it cannot be changed afterwards, I would prefer to deliver a list of its issues which is also fixed. So, let's include (and just keep) the URL paramter. My 2ct. Marcus - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org

Bugzilla list_id parameter in URL question
Hi All, Does anyone know what the list_id parameter is for in the URL after a search? For example: If I do an advanced search for issues fixed in 4.1.12 milestone I get this for a URL: https://bz.apache.org/ooo/buglist.cgi?list_id=249822_format=advanced=FIXED=FIXED_WITHOUT_CODE_milestone=4.1.12 If I do it again I get a different list_id. https://bz.apache.org/ooo/buglist.cgi?list_id=249823_format=advanced=FIXED=FIXED_WITHOUT_CODE_milestone=4.1.12 If I remove it like this and use it: https://bz.apache.org/ooo/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced=FIXED=FIXED_WITHOUT_CODE_milestone=4.1.12 I get a new list_id again. https://bz.apache.org/ooo/buglist.cgi?list_id=249824_format=advanced=FIXED=FIXED_WITHOUT_CODE_milestone=4.1.12 If I reuse a previous one with the list_id it stays the same. Are these result lists stored in the database or something? Here is the process: When a request is coming to sysadmin@ we check for which tool the request is (the mail address is also used for others) and which name and mail address. If this not clear we ask and wait for the answer. So, when users wish to have an acount for BZ, they should write: - that it is for Bugzilla - which mail address should be used as login name - and their real name When we have the information, we create a new BZ account and give a response on sysadmin@, so all admins knows. The account details incl. the password will be send to the user only. And with the request to change it with first login. That's it. This way we didn't have any strange tricks to do when taking/assigning an issue, as the QA Contact is a separate field. Maybe you can find something in the Bugzilla configuration that defines the default QA contact? I believe this address receives notifications too, so setting it to issues@ would solve the problem. Hi, ad. 1. > There are some descriptions about > the “untitled” or “unbenannt” documents in the code, > but there is no consistency whether to put a space before the number. > What should be the correct one? I presume by "descriptions" you mean that "untitled" (EN) and/or "unbenannt" (DE) appear in comments in the code. If at dev@ there is common understanding that a default name of a new document shall be "Untitled X" then a space is required before the number X. ad. 2. >changing untitled into untitled # > > Please tell more about where the untitled problem happens, in bugzilla. > I think untitled problem should be fixed manually in every code. > > Since it looks like different type of bug with #90, > I will create a new pull request after refinement. Indubitably you misunderstood my point (probably others at dev@ team too...) and I do apologize for that. For some time now I've been working on a non-uniform labelling issue in AOO User Interface. The problem of "Untitled" is related to this non-uniformity and has *nothing* to do with "UntitledX" vs "Untitled X". For any new document - be it "Untitled 1", "Untitled 2" and so on - in 'File > Properties > "General" tab', one sees "Untitled" in the read-only text field. IMHO this is not the best way to inform the user that a name for the document is not determined yet. I prefer MS Word 2010 approach: nothing is displayed in the text field (empty string) and no relevant image is shown for the file type. Image file with relevant screenshots from AOO Writer and MS Word 2010 is available at the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xAIHiySoEbzbVRlcXl-z86lq7RCcKx1i/view?usp=sharing Other proposals for a string in question would be e.g. "(unknown)", "[none]", "-None-" - and here comes the above mentioned issue of non-uniformity. HTH Czesław P.S. By "HTH" I mean, of course, "Hope that Helps" and not an acronym made from the title of an AC/DC song. ;‑) пн, 27 июл. 2020 г. в 15:42, Hyeon Lee : > Hello, > I am working on some bugs mentioned before, and I have some questions: > > 1. Re: [GitHub] [openoffice] Pilot-Pirx commented on pull request #90: Possible patch for Bugzilla Issue 128395
Hello, I am working on some bugs mentioned before, and I have some questions: 1. There are some descriptions about the “untitled” or “unbenannt” documents in the code, but there is no consistency whether to put a space before the number. What should be the correct one? 2. changing untitled into untitled # Please tell more about where the untitled problem happens, in bugzilla. I think untitled problem should be fixed manually in every code. Since it looks like different type of bug with #90, I will create a new pull request after refinement. ps.
