OK, thanks. What is your current desktop environment? deb? or ???

That was tested on GNOME 3, with the official 4.1.1 version of OpenOffice.

within OOo WIKI:

Kind regards, Joost

question about OpenOffice environment variables

2014-09-09 Thread Kay Schenk
In issue 125499 --
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125499

I'm wondering if the environment variables might come into play here. Info
at: https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Environment_Variables

I can certainly set OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP, but I'm wondering where I can find
additional information on SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN. Anybody?

Right now I'm using the freedesktop.org desktop environment. Maybe I need
to track down what else comes into play here besides what's in the spec
file?
