hi, all, Stephan, thank you very much for your reply! :) [...] Maybe the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (the msvcr DLL etc.) are the problem: maybe you have them installed system-wide on your old XP machine, do not bundle them with the OOo you built, and do not have them installed
