Hi all, I just want to remember that there is a Hackontest which is part of OpenExpo in Zurich in September.
There are many projects listed, most of them will be at the fair (OpenOffice.org will be there with around 4 or 5 people from Germany and Switzerland). The projects are collecting features which then have to be realized from project members during the OpenExpo within 24 hours. The best work will get 8500 Dollars. So, OpenOffice.org at this time has only 6 features! There are projects with much more! If anyone will take part to show that OpenOffice.org is a real big and fantastic project, please register at http://hackontest.org/ and send your ideas. At the fair, we are one of the biggest projects and the people from OpenExpo want to see OpenOffice.org to become very successfull in Hackontest too. Bisher sind wir nur mit 6 Beiträgen dort aufgelistet. Da wir eines der größten Projekte auf der Messe sind und von Anfang an dabei, haben die Schweizer uns da richtig lieb gewonnen. Es wäre sehr schön, wenn wir mehr Beiträge liefern könnten oder unser Projekt mehr bewerten. Und am Ende vielleicht sogar den Preis bekommen könnten.
