Thank you all!
now it works! I switched to --rri tasks. This is what I did:
* get latest osmosis version 0.31.2 dated december 20th (I had an older
0.31.2 version before, but who knows...)
* initialize the working directory with
osmosis --rrii workingDirectory=/blabla/0
* changed the URL to

Hi Dirk,
to make it short: I just dropped the not so obvious part of the check.
A small fraction of errors remains, that is errors of this type:
way A, layer 0|

Hi Dirk
As Philip already said, I refer to the tunnel-wiki-page
(http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tunnel#How_to_Map). It says that you
should have at least a short non-tunnel-way between a tunnel and the
next junction.
From this I conclude that the only valid method of changing layers is
Hi!
To finalize this issue, I just released an update to keepright with
rewritten checks to implement the changes we discussed.
Thank you!

Hi!
First of all, thanks for http://keepright.ipax.at, it makes it easy to
find and fix certain problems in the OSM data.
Hi Ulf,
Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I thought, the inner way should be
tagged with building=yes

Hi Eddy,
the problem with maps never calming down is not new to me. I've turned
off auto-panning for now and think about a way to make this optional in
the future.
Also, what is the purpose of the option keep error open? As I
understand it, there's no difference between that and simply
Hi Eddy,
[sorry for the delay, missed your mail]
The link-problem is solved now. I did remove the entities that where
suggested by W3C's html validator...
Now wanting to fix the remaining issues in data for Romania, I saw
that the Edit in Potlatch doesn't work anymore, apparently because
Hello,
So to recapitulate this topic it seems consensus to me that using
name=tbd or ref=tbd
is undesirable and I can easily integrage it in my fixme-check to
highlight spots where this tagging has been used

Hello,
In Romania there are many streets with name='tbd'

As on hi-zoom the error icons disappear for some reason, I confused the
error from the adiacent one-way road with the roundabout.
So sorry for the wrong bug report. :)

Hi, Alessandro!
I'm not sure if I fully understand your post.
I do think that a roundabout should be a circular way where the first
node is connected to the last one. There need not necessarily be another
road connected to the first node of such a loop.
Please give me an example so I can
Hi Marc!
well I think I did some overkill...
If this is common conensus I will drop this check, because it is
superseded by check intersections without junctions, which does
exactly what you describe.
Thank you!

Harald

Hi!
During the last months I worked a lot on my check routines and created a
website that presents spots in the map that could contain errors.
Please have a look at
http://keepright.ipax.at
I will try to update the error table on a regular schedule and at some
time in the future run the
Hi!
If you (like me) have bought plenty of extra RAM, then optimized your
my.cnf file to donate your RAM to MySQL (until you didn't know which
settings you modified) and finally ended up with osmosis taking one our

Hi Jochen, Thanks for your post!
Maplint Validator-Plugin look interesting (I didn't know about them before).
Are they based on top of the API or do they access xml-data directly?
Its great that you

Hi Joerg, thank you for your response!
If there would be any possibility to combine this with the JOSM validator
plugin or as standalone plugin or even as overlay map like the maplint
