[OSM-dev] mod_tile installation problem

I  have question when I install mod_tile :

After I install mod_tile, I typing command :
svn co http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/utils/mod_tile -- 
./outogen.sh -- ./configure 
but the result configure: error: Did not find mapnik

Have you installed the development Mapnik libraries?
