Hey plc4x-ers, with the help of Sebastian we managed to fix all our modbus issues from the API migration and are finally back in production with the modbus module and the new api (on the current snapshot). We currently use a workflow to do custom (forked) releases to our own nexus to ensure stability (of the build not of the software ofc) and by doing that I recognized that I had to silence / delete a whole lot of test files in several modules. So with regards of the 0.2.0 release we should have this in mind and keep the focus on migrating all tests to the new API. I can also help a bit and perhaps also Marcel who is now familiar with the Modbus stuff can do a bit.
Just wanted to share this with you as we are all doing a lot with new features or functional fixes but we should also keep track on the test coverage and the nitty-gritty stuff to ensure that the features do not come at the price of instability (of the software this time). Julian
