Yes this should be fixed as part of 0.16. That is the intention.
Previous attempts to make the Windows code behave like the Linux version have
had mixed results, with injection a known outage. Fixes were being worked on
but were suspended when the new experimental connection_engine was emerging,
since it provided a better target for a clean multithreaded model that was not
Posix-centric.
I have raised
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-1349
for the more general work. As workable Windows snapshots are available I will
post there.
I will keep this open until a working inject example is available on master.
