Thanks for the feedback from those that gave it. Lacking any further
input, I have gone ahead and completed an initial feature matrix

and feature description list to which each item links

... BUT ...

* There are still blank fields in the matrix - that means I don't know
the answer. If you know the state of a feature for the broker/client and
it is blank in the matrix, please let me know.

* This needs checking - I pulled many of the states and descriptions off
the top of my head - and that means its correctness is questionable!

* The list of features is still somewhat arbitrary, and should include
some of the stronger points from the Java side of the project.
Suggestions (particularly from non-C++ sections of the project) would be
appreciated (I _did_ add selectors as one of these).

* I dug up wiki links where I could find them for the features which
have been placed in the description list. If these are incorrect,
inappropriate or simply way out-of-date, let me know and we can either
update the linked page or remove the page/link. (BTW, this also shows
how thin our design/user documentation on the wiki is for many
features!)

* We now have a way to indicate a proposed release version for a feature
not yet available (see the key at the top of the table), so if you have
knowledge of these, please also pass them on to me.

I hope to link these pages soon to the main wiki infrastructure. I will
then try some ideas for the feature interop matrix, but we need to
establish the feature list first.

Thanks again for your interest.

Kim
