As this is the first time the project report, I think this needs some help...
On a regular basis (monthly for the first three months, quarterly thereafter), each incubating project reports to Incubator PMC. The report contains the status of the podling at reporting date, including the most important things. The PPMC doesn't have to fill out the report itself; reports are aggregated in the wiki and all later sent to the ASF Board. You have further details at http://incubator.apache.org/guides/ppmc.html#Incubator+ASF+Board+Reports With the notice from IPMC, you will always get a template to fill in your report in the wiki: https://wiki.apache.org/incubator/January2016 Since the project is just starting incubation, the report is very simple to write. Check examples from other podlings if you need, or ask your mentors. If by Tuesday 5th afternoon (CET) nobody has drafted it, I'll propose an initial version.
