It was the 32,000 row limit (now there are 65,536 rows available)

However, you can get OOo builds with 1 million rows in Calc:

I got it. I can´t see any problem.

Did you set the data type of the columns in the import options to
text?

Re: [sc-dev] Filling dates in Calc

Hi,

Leonard Mada schrieb:

I worked late last night and needed to fill in dates in Calc. Actually I
needed to fill the same date in a variable number of cells.

You could select the range of cells, that should get the same entry,
first. Then type it in and close with {ALT}+{ENTER}.

Thanks a lot. This was helpful and enabled me to phrase this

Thank you, for your help. Unfortunately the Sepc does not define
Epsilon Level used by the implemented algorithm. Can you point me
to a definition?

For translation, QA and user documentation a specification is
needed, that defines the functional meaning of Epsilon Level. This
term is not common to me, although I do have quite some knowledge
about Linear Optimization.

Re: [sc-dev] Behavior of Ctrl-+ and - to insert/delete rows

Hi Niklas,

Niklas Nebel schrieb:

It depends on the current selection. If whole rows are selected, rows
are inserted. Same for columns, otherwise the dialog is shown. Maybe
that was the difference.

Anyway, when you have selected a whole row and you perform Ctrl- one
time, this results in a single cell selected, rather than a whole
row selected. Thus you cannot delete multiple rows by simply
pressing Ctrl- several times.

Re: [sc-dev] pdf_calc_Export for single sheet possible ?

2006-09-21 Thread Stefan Weigel

is there an easy way to export a single sheet
(which can contain 1-X print pages) to pdf ?

Yes.

sheet1 1 page
sheet2 2 pages
sheet3 1 page

How to export sheet2 ?

(1) File | Export to PDF...
(2) Give file name and destination
(3) Klick Save
(4) Choose Range|Selection

This will export the currently selected sheet(s) to PDF
